Graduation
So hi! I was planning back then to write a graduation entry but now, I don’t feel like it. I guess it’s because I am not sure what to feel about graduating. I’m not sure if I’ll feel sad that I’m about to leave the school where I spent 4 years of growing, learning and realizing, and miss the people that made marks in my college life. Or feel scared that I am about to be in a new, challenging but similar environment months from now. Or feel happy that I will no longer be able to see and face those things that infuriated and depressed me in college. It’s a mixture of these feelings and I am not quite sure which dominates. But I’m pretty sure my college years was worthwhile even if I never had an org or made more friends or did something outrageous. I guess if I’ll give one word about my graduation, it would be ‘fulfilling’. College was such great experience, learning things not only from my field (nutrition) but also holistically. Thank you UP Diliman and everyone that made my college fulfilling. UP Manila, you are next.
So hey, I made a graduation entry after all! To all UP seniors graduating this April 2013, congratulations to us! May we continue to aspire knowledge and apply these for the country. And may we practice what our professors and mentors in UP constantly tell us, honor first before excellence. Happy graduation!
